Top-Quality Materials
CANVAS - MYPB uses a matte, poly-cotton blend 21 mil canvas. The blended materials along with its thickness ensures maximum durability, performance and great appearance. Unlike photos papers, canvas will retain its quality appearance in a variety of climate conditions (high humidity, temperature variations, etc.).
- INK - There is a saying we use in production, "We never skimp on ink." The foundation of a quality enlargement is the ink that you use. We use HP Pigment-based inks. The inks, without sealant will not fade for over 100 years when kept out of direct sunlight. With a UV sealant applied, the images will last even longer.
- SEALANT - A semi-gloss sealant is applied to all enlargements. The sealant protects the canvas in three ways: UV inhibitor (protect from fading), scratch-resistance, and moisture-resistance. Once sealed, the inks on the canvas will not smudge or smear even if moisture touches the canvas. While the canvases are very durable, they can still be scratched or damaged if they are dropped on a sharp object or if they rub against another object for a period of time. Our warranty does not protect from self-inflicted damage to the canvas.
- STRETCHER BARS - We assemble our own stretcher bars to ensure quality and strength. Once the photo has been printed on the canvas and the UV sealant has been applied and allowed 24 hours to dry, the canvas is wrapped on to the stretcher bars. Wrapping a canvas onto stretcher bars is called Gallery Wrapping. It provides depth to the enlargement and gives it an artistic appearance. All enlargements are shipped to the customer ready to be hung on the wall. No additional framing is needed.
The Design Process
The design process is simple and begins with you placing your order and providing answers to a few questions during the order process. Upon receipt of your order and photographs, our designers will provide you with a proof (either by mail or e-mail) of what your enlargement will look like. This allows us to make changes should they be necessary before your enlargement goes into production. Once we receive your approval, your enlargement is sent to production.
Free Design Effects
During the ordering process you will be given the opportunity to select up to two design effects. Once you receive your proof, simply select the option you like best. There are seven design effects to choose from: No Enhancement, Black & White, Sepia, Watercolor, Select Elements, Charcoal Sketch, and Diffused Glow.
Design Add-Ons
More complex design such as adding or removing people or objects is available at a one-time fee of $39.00. Because every design project is different, we do not offer this service during the checkout or retail packet process. Our designers will inform you if this design fee will apply to your project before starting. As always, our standard Design Effects are free on all of our enlargements. Some examples where the $39.00 design fee would apply include the following:

Collages
You are welcome to create a collage of photos when you select one of our five collage sizes (16x24, 20x30, 24x36, 24x24, and 30x30). If you would like to order a collage, select Sizes & Prices and then select Collage. Once you select Collage, you will be given three layout options to choose from. Simply select the layout option you like best and our designers will send you a proof based on that layout option. Caring for Your Enlargement
Taking care of your enlargement is simple. Since there is not glass or frame to keep clean, all you need is a dry, static cling cloth such as any of the Swiffer brand products. A feather duster may also be used. Do not use any type of cleaning solvent or abrasive wipe.
